We do not advertise our physical address because we do not receive US Postal Service delivery here and do not want to confuse people or have things lost because someone has chosen to mail to our physical address. If you are shipping something using FedEx or UPS, please contact us first (email is best) for the correct shipping information.

Our phone number is no longer listed because we no longer answer our phone. Period. (Thank abuse from robocalls and other unwanted phone solicitors for this decision). It hasn’t changed in over 20 years, so if you do stumble across our phone number be sure to leave a message. We have an application managing our phone and if a number calls repeatedly without leaving a message, it will assume the caller is a solicitor and block it moving forward.
Orders: We do not take phone orders. Retails sales are handled through the MSR Online Bookstore. Those who want to pay by check can email a request for pricing and receive a price via email (see below). Wholesale buyers (stores) need to make requests for pricing and terms via email. Wholesale orders need to be in writing and email is the most efficient and reliable format.
Authors seeking publishing information. First, we have several pages with submission information for manuscripts. Authors can find the answer to most of their submission/publishing questions on this page: Submission Guidelines | The Main Street Rag. There is little we could tell anyone over the phone that is not available on this website. Second, the bulk of our sales are done electronically, so for us to be able publish an author, he/she must have some level of comfortability with a computer along with internet savvy. Third, while we do have a separate self-publishing label and do take on some self-publishing projects, it is not our primary focus. That said, we can only help those seeking these types of services if they are able to work with us through email anyway. If you can’t find information on the website, send questions by email.
If you feel a phone call is the only means by which you can resolve an issue, you need to contact us by email (address/link below), give a brief note of explanation, and leave YOUR phone number. Someone will call you back between the hours of 9am and 4pm Eastern time.
